Established in 1990 in Dortmund, Germany, KIS Antriebstechnik GmbH & Co. KG offers a broad variety of customised rotating solutions and product developments in bearing technology to customers worldwide.

Dureable precision, high quality, exceptional customer service and an innovative spirit are our core DNA at KIS. A family-owned 2nd generation company founded over 30 years ago, we’ve demonstrated niche leadership by becoming a global success story with our products distributed in over 45 countries worldwide. Developed in close collaboration with our clients for specific applications, KIS products are not standardised catalogue goods but individually optimised solutions.

We‘re convinced that every application, including the associated bearings, can be designed to be safer, more durable, more maintenance-optimised, easier to install, more efficient or optimised for other reasons. Our innovative team includes experts in technology, QA, QM, project management, application engineering, logistics and measurement technology as well as marketing and optimises a wide variety of rotary applications every day with attention to detail. Knowing that we learn something new with every application and transfer this know-how to other areas.

Alongside helping customers in different industries within machinery and plant engineering to work more efficiently and sustainably by improving their rotative equipment, KIS has also committed to MISSION ENERGY AUTARKY 2027: A decarbonisation initiative to eleminate emissions for scopes 1 and 2 for its headquarters in Dortmund by 2027.
